Human Resource Management Intern at REV’IT! Sport International / Customer Solutions Specialist at Mediamarkt

At REV’IT!, we have a deep-rooted drive. We want motorcyclists to enjoy their passion to the fullest. To achieve that goal, we try to learn something new every day. From each other, from our customers, from our data, and maybe also from you.

Are you excited by the technical intricacies of 3D design and engineering? Do you have the expertise in CAD specifically Rhino – as well as Sub‑D and Grasshopper – to translate your creative concepts and design via 3D sketches into mold‑ready 3D files? Do you enjoy translating ergonomic and performance‑driven ideas into real‑world aesthetically pleasing components? Then you might be the 3D Design Engineer we are looking for.

What can you expect from us?

At REV’IT!, we push the boundaries of Design, Performance, and Innovation in everything we do. That includes every seam, every fit, and every component in our gear. The same applies to our 3D components – those integral hard parts that make a big difference in both safety and aesthetics. As 3D Design Engineer, you are an essential link between the Research & Innovation and Product Design teams. You will shape our hard components – think protective sliders, protectors, smart fastening systems, and structural elements in gloves and technical footwear. Your focus is always twofold: performance and precision. You will analyze, prototype, test, and refine – always looking for the best intersection of form and function. In this role, your scope is both specific and varied. From developing protective elements to crafting hard components in gloves and footwear – each project requires a keen aesthetic sense, an eye for ergonomics, manufacturing process understanding, and technical precision. Rhino will be your core tool, with Sub‑D essential to your workflow, and Grasshopper as a valuable plus. At REV’IT!, we seek people who are not only technically skilled but also design‑minded and analytically strong. This is a unique opportunity to operate at the crossroads of design engineering, ergonomics, and aesthetics, supported by a team that values deep thinking, technical rigor, and visual excellence.

What does this mean in practice?

You will join the Research & Innovation team and collaborate closely with Product Design. From first sketch to final tooling file, you will take full ownership of our 3D component development process.

Your job will include:

  • Designing and developing ergonomic, functional 3D components.
  • Creating high‑quality CAD files (Rhino, Sub‑D, and Grasshopper).
  • Collaborating with designers and engineers to ensure seamless integration with soft goods.
  • Ensuring component designs are technically feasible and manufacturable.
  • Communicating with suppliers and tooling partners.
  • Supervising the iterative design process, from concept to final tooling, sampling and production.
  • Conducting mechanical tests in our lab where needed.
  • Documenting each step to meet REV’IT!’s quality and performance standards.
  • Continuously researching new technologies, trends, and materials in the field.
  • Reporting to the Research & Innovation Manager.

This is a Full‑time position (40 hours per week, 32 hours negotiable). You will report to the Research & Innovation Manager.

You are passionate about shaping products that merge design, functionality, and safety. You thrive on finding the optimal balance between aesthetics and engineering.

  • A relevant degree in Product Design, or a similar field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a comparable 3D design role.
  • Mastery of Rhino, including Sub‑D; experience with Grasshopper is a strong plus.
  • A feel for aesthetics and form, combined with a preference for ergonomic detailing.
  • An analytical and precise mindset, paired with technical feasibility thinking.
  • Affinity with protection, hard elements in gloves and footwear, and textile integration.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • A proactive and collaborative working attitude.
  • A curious and inquisitive mindset. You actively engage with manufacturers and development partners, asking the right questions to deepen your understanding and master new techniques and processes.
