Pink Gellac, the leading brand in gel nail polish, is looking for a motivated Product Development Intern to join our team. Organization

Our charming office villa is located in Hilversum. At this location, a team of 50 colleagues (Management, Finance, HR, Operations, Marketing, Digital, Product Development, and Customer Service) make sure to give our customers the best product & brand experience. We have a production facility nearby in Baarn where our products are made, and we have an enthusiastic team that staffs our beautiful stores. We currently have 13 boutiques in the Netherlands, Belgium, and France.

What will you do?

As a Product Development Intern, you will support our team across various aspects of the Product Development process.

Your responsibilities

• Conduct research on consumer trends and developments in the beauty industry, source benchmark products, and provide input for new product development.
• Create product copy and descriptions of new products in collaboration with our content specialist and copywriters.
• Contribute to the development of innovation and new colour collections: manage samples and perform product testing.
• Analyze performance of innovation and colour collections.
• Ensure all product information is up to date in our Product Information system.
• Contribute to our product strategy and brainstorm new ideas.
• Perform product testing.
• Manage the test panel, organize product tests, and evaluate results.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on student who matches the following profile:

• You are pursuing a relevant higher professional education (HBO or WO).
• You have a strong interest in the nail and beauty industry.
• You are solution-oriented, detail-focused, and can maintain an overview easily.
• You are flexible and able to handle various tasks simultaneously.
• You have excellent written and spoken command of both Dutch and English.
• You are available for 32 to 40 hours per week.
• You are familiar with working in Excel, Canva, and PowerPoint.
